What these numbers are
Rank is measured. It is the app's true position in the ordered list Apple returns for that search — the same order a customer sees. Difficulty is an estimate, computed from the strength of the apps in the results, and labelled as one everywhere it appears.
There is no revenue or download figure here for anyone's app, because Apple does not publish those and we will not model them. The 100-character keyword field and the app description are private to Apple, so nothing here claims to read them. Full method on the methodology page.
