Real App Store ranks in. One clear decision out — every week.
No credit card · AI included · iOS only · your data stays yours
Not a feature list to browse — the signals behind the weekly decision: your ranks, reviews, metadata, competitors, and connected downloads, each one feeding a move.
Not a wall of metrics: a ranked Action Plan from your ranks, listing, reviews and competitors. Every move is labeled measured or estimate, so you never act on a guess.
Every move traces to a true storefront ranking with daily history — and a portfolio verdict flags which tracked terms are earning, grinding, or dead weight.
A weekly briefing, reply drafts and metadata ideas. Included, no key.
Ranked complaints and requests, the version a rating drop began, and which keywords your title and subtitle miss vs. rivals. Each becomes next week's move.
Get alerted the day a tracked competitor changes their title, subtitle or icon — and watch each rival's share of top-10 slots on your tracked terms, measured daily from real search order and compared week over week.
Correlate downloads with rank, so each move aims true: keywords when it's visibility, screenshots when it's conversion. Connect App Store Connect and localization gaps get sized in your own proceeds — per country, in its own currency.
Add a placeholder app and scout keyword difficulty + demand for your niche before you submit.
Get the 2–3 keyword and listing moves most likely to lift your installs this week.
Correlate rank with downloads, diagnose your screenshots, and benchmark against apps your size.
Track several own apps on Pro, group them with folders, and export per-app keyword data when you need it.
Most ASO tools hand you advice and move on. ASOon logs every move you act on and grades it 14 days later — from windows frozen at the moment you made the change.
You mark a move done and it becomes a dated experiment: start date, baseline rank, baseline downloads. Nothing is judged yet — the change needs time to propagate.
Rank verdict = the median of days 8–14 after the change. Downloads compare the 7 days after with the 7 before. Both computed from history already on disk — worked or didn't, with the numbers.
If the fixed windows hold no measurements, the verdict says exactly that. An honest “can't grade” — never a guess dressed up as a grade.
The freeze is the point: a verdict is computed once, from windows anchored to the change date, over append-only history. Later data never re-grades it, and falling out of the rankings counts as a loss — not as missing data. A grade that can drift after the fact isn't a grade.
Read the full methodologyWhat you see above is the mechanism itself, not a result. As our own logged experiments mature, a real dated verdict — with both of its measurement windows — will appear here. We won't fabricate one in the meantime.
| Keyword | Live rank | #1 result |
|---|---|---|
| habit tracker | #15 | Habit Tracker |
| daily habits | #33 | Habit Tracker |
| routine tracker | not in top results | Habit Tracker |
A brandable name plus a poetic subtitle means the exact phrase "habit tracker" appears nowhere in Streaks' visible metadata — so an award-winning app sits on page two of its own category, behind an app literally named "Habit Tracker." The App Store matches the exact words shoppers type, and only a measured rank next to your own subtitle makes that visible.
Read the full 10-app teardownRanks above were measured live from Apple's public App Store data on 9 July 2026 and drift over time — which is exactly why you track them.
There are great ASO tools — some cheaper, some far bigger. ASOon wins on one thing: turning your own data into a weekly decision. Looking at Astro alternatives or a lighter MobileAction? Here's the honest picture.

How each number is measured — and what's an estimate — is public: methodology · changelog
Not anymore. Ranking now turns on your whole listing — title and subtitle, keyword coverage, ratings and reviews, download velocity, and how well your screenshots convert. ASOon reads all of that (plus your competitors) and turns it into a short weekly action plan, instead of leaving you to stitch a keyword tool, a review tool, and a spreadsheet together.
No. Search the App Store, add keywords, and ranks track immediately — and the AI features (briefings, review replies, metadata ideas, screenshot grading) are included, no key to wire up. Connecting Apple Search Ads or App Store Connect is optional; those just add measured popularity and your own download numbers.
Ranks are the true App Store search order (not a guess). Popularity and difficulty are clearly labeled “estimate” unless you connect Apple Search Ads — ASOon never dresses an estimate up as a measured number.
Every recommendation you mark done becomes a dated experiment. Fourteen days later ASOon grades it from fixed windows — rank is the median of days 8–14 after the change, downloads compare the 7 days after with the 7 before — computed from history already on disk, so a grade can never drift after the fact. If the windows hold no data, the verdict honestly reads “insufficient” instead of guessing. Of the ASO tools we compared in Aug 2026 (Astro, Appfigures, AppTweak, MobileAction, AppFollow…), ASOon is the only one that does this.
Yes, and it's included on every plan — no key to set up: drafting title and subtitle metadata, summarizing review themes, suggesting replies, and grading your screenshots for conversion. But it's assistive, not autonomous — every suggestion ends in your decision, and anything ASOon can't directly measure is labeled an estimate, never presented as fact. You bring the judgment; it does the legwork.
Astro (~$9/mo billed annually, unlimited keywords, 60+ countries) and MobileAction Lite (~$15/mo, or ~$12.50/mo yearly — 100 keywords, 5 apps, 3 months history) are solid, and ASOon doesn't pretend they don't exist. The difference is focus: ASOon turns your own ranks, reviews, metadata, competitors, and connected downloads into a weekly ranked decision, runs core tracking locally, and stays deliberately small. If you want the biggest keyword database or an enterprise market-intelligence suite, those tools may fit better.
ASOon is Apple App Store only, across every country. If you need Google Play tracking, this is not the right tool.
On asoon.app your tracked apps, keywords, and history live in ASOon's hosted database, tied to your account. Any Apple or API credentials you add are encrypted at rest. It's yours: export your keyword data as CSV anytime, and delete your ASOon account data from Profile — no email required. Billing stays in Stripe, so cancel Pro in the billing portal first if you subscribed. Prefer full control? ASOon is local-first by design, so you can self-host and keep every byte in your own infrastructure. Optional Apple connections send only what's required, and only if you connect them. The privacy page lists every data flow exactly.
No public API or MCP in 1.0. Your data is always yours — CSV export, or self-host the whole thing. We'd rather make the advice provably good for one person than maintain an API for ten. Need programmatic access? Email us — real requests are what would reopen this.
Yes — cancel in the billing portal. The Free plan never asks for a card. The Pro trial takes a card up front and converts to paid after 14 days unless you cancel — and you can request a refund within 30 days if it does not fit your workflow.
Every move you ship gets a verdict 14 days later, measured from your own ranks.
